Girl Scout Bike Club is a six-week summer healthy living program designed to build girls’ confidence in biking and inspire them to include biking in their everyday lives. The Bike Club Program teaches girls skills in bike safety, maintenance, nutrition, advocacy, and route planning.
Girls must provide their own bike, helmet, and bring a water bottle to each meeting.
Bike Club 1
Girls will learn, bike safety, bike maintenance, rules of the road, and ride preparations. Each session will also include a group ride. Bike Club 1 is available in select locations.
Bike Club 2
Older riders will learn bike maintenance, ride preparations, route planning, and bike advocacy. Each session will also include a group ride. Prior completion of Bike Club 1 is not required. Bike Club 2 is new this year and only available in Rochester.
