Outdoor Gear Rental Resources

When planning an outdoor trip, there are basic camping essentials you will need but maybe do not own. No problem! There are lots of places to check-out or rent camping gear like tents and cooking equipment. First, check-in with friends and family – most often troops are able to gather enough tents and supplies from their own networks. Otherwise, check out some of these great local resources.

Girl Scout River Valleys Equipment Checkout

Girl Scouts River Valleys has a limited amount of outdoor equipment such as cook kits, tents, and compasses available to troops and members.

• Cook kits are available at all of our camp properties (Camp Edith Mayo, Camp Elk River, Camp Lakamaga, Camp Lockeslea, Camp Northwoods, Camp Singing Hills, or Camp Sagata). Reserve your cook kits when you make your facility reservation.
• Tents are available to Girl Scout groups renting space at Camp Lakamaga and Camp Elk River only. Reserve your tents when you make your facility reservation.
