Cancellation Policies

• All camp sessions (including troop camp) have a minimum deposit.
• Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another session or person.
• To receive a refund, less the non-transferable/non-refundable deposit, we must receive your cancellation notice by the posted cancellation deadline (30 days prior to the program start date).
  • Cancellations are accepted by phone, email, in-person or by submitting the Camp and Event Cancellation Form.
  • Refund requests submitted after these deadlines will be considered when a registrant cancels due to illness or family emergency and approved by Girl Scouts River Valleys.

• For overnight resident camp sessions, if a camper’s stay is shortened due to an unexpected illness, injury, or family emergency and the camper needs to leave camp before 50% of the camp session has passed, the family will receive a partial refund of 50% of the cost of the camp session minus the deposit.
• Girl Scouts River Valleys will not issue partial early departure refunds for reasons other than illness or injury, including homesickness, scheduling conflicts, or being sent home due to violation of the camper code of conduct.

All camp sessions are subject to cancellation or rescheduling by Girl Scouts River Valleys. If a session is canceled by Girl Scouts River Valleys, and the camper is unable to attend an alternate session, all fees will be refunded, including any deposit made.
