- All reservations are subject to change and must comply with our Property & Facility Use Policies and all In-Person Girl Scout Activity Guidance. A 20% deposit is due at the time of reservation. The full balance is due 60 days before your reservation date.
Girl Scouts River Valleys’ camps offer a wide variety of facilities for rent during the camp off-season (non-summer months), including troop houses, dining halls, dorms, canvas platform tents, three and four-season cabins, and yurts. Reservations can be placed up to 12 months before your event date. Start planning your stay!
During June, July, and August, Girl Scouts River Valleys Resident Camp programs have exclusive use of all areas at Camp Elk River, Lakamaga and Singing Hills.
Girl Scouts
Girl Scout members can reserve camp facilities for Girl Scout-related events, meetings, campouts, or activities by completing the Girl Scout Event Rental Inquiry Form, or create an ActiveNet account to book your own space directly in our online reservation system.
Non-Girl Scouts
Outside groups, non-members and even Girl Scout members can complete our Non-Girl Scout Event Rental Inquiry Form. (e.g. non-Girl Scout activity, reunion, family campout, etc.).
Note: Wedding rentals have special pricing, require a 2-day minimum rental and are available only during Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.

Camp Edith Mayo

Camp Edith Mayo, located in Rochester, MN, is the perfect place to experience “camp in the city.” This 40-acre property features the remodeled Edith Mayo Program Center, archery range, outdoor program spaces and the retail shop where you can purchase uniforms and more. Camp Edith Mayo allows campers to connect to nature and friends while having engaging, dynamic, and magical outdoor experiences.
The Program Center at Edith Mayo has both an upper and lower level available for rental, is equipped with WiFi and is fully ADA accessible. Edith Mayo Program Center is an excellent location for an event, or meeting!

Quick Facts (For Entire Camp)
- Acres: 40
- Overnight Capacity: Limited seasonal tent camping on Friday and Saturday nights. Please contact our Property Services Coordinator for more information, 800-845-0787 or complete the Member Rental Inquiry Form.
- Amenities: The upper level includes the Olmsted multipurpose room equipped with self-serve IT equipment including projector, speakers, microphone, podium, TV projector, conference phone, an indoor fireplace and bathrooms. Off the Olmsted Room is a lovely, large seasonal deck equipped with tables, chairs, shade umbrellas and benches. The lower level (accessible by stairs or elevator) includes bathrooms and showers, and the Troop Lounge (classroom tables and chairs, three season porch, kitchen, TV, lounge area with indoor fireplace). The seasonal, rustic Historic Lodge is equipped with tables, benches and an indoor fireplace. Nestled into the woods are three outdoor units (open sided shelters, picnic tables, fire pit, cleared tenting area and composting toilet).

- Activity Areas: Music in the woods, art in the woods, bouldering wall, gaga pit, playfield, campfire area, and nature exploration.

Camp Elk River
Camp Elk River, located northwest of the Twin Cities in Zimmerman, Minnesota, offers modern facilities in a spectacular outdoor setting. The Gray Koch building is great for holding a larger event with a dorm wing, dining hall, and four program rooms. The Timbermeade, Popp, and Pickering troop houses are excellent choices for a troop overnight, each equipped with a kitchen, indoor bathrooms, and a large meeting area/sleeping space. Built in 2018, the Whispering Prairie area includes modern program center, covered barn and riding ring, two duplex cabins (Pinto and Morgan) with shared screened porch. In 2020, a 2.1 mile mountain bike trail and skills course were built for program events. Elk River also has a large sand bottom swimming pool available seasonally (only with certified lifeguard supervision). This is a great location for any age group.

Camp Lakamaga
Camp Lakamaga, located northeast of the Twin Cities near the town of Marine on St. Croix, offers a great mix of modern and rustic facilities in a beautiful wooded setting, available for rental during the off-season. Choose from troop house/program center style buildings, small modern four season cabins, three season cabins and yurts, and a large dining hall. Some spaces include indoor kitchens and bathrooms, while others will offer your campers a chance to practice their outdoor cooking skills and use an outdoor latrine. There is also a centrally located shower house with year-round indoor bathrooms.
Lakamaga has a great camp feel with lake views and a rustic, wooded landscape. This is a great location for both younger and older campers. You can plan for outdoor activities or indoor badge and Journey work!

Camp Northwoods

Located 55 miles southeast of Duluth.
Camp Northwoods, located in northwest Wisconsin, is a bit of a drive, but well worth it! Northwoods offers comfortable options in a remote, rustic setting. Overnight options include heated troop houses with kitchens, indoor bathrooms, and bunk beds, as well as three season cabins, and yurts where your campers will practice their outdoor cooking skills and use an outdoor latrine. Northwoods is a great fall or winter getaway for your troop and a great natural setting to explore!

Sagata Troop House
288 Lake Street South Bayport, MN 55003 Located in a city park on the St. Croix River.
Sagata Troop House, located in a city park on the St Croix River in Bayport, Minnesota, is the perfect place for our younger Girl Scouts to get a taste of camping. Facilities include indoor kitchen, bathrooms (no showers), an outdoor fire circle, indoor fireplace, and picnic tables. Sagata is comfortable cabin and can be a great introduction to sleeping bags, dunk bags, sit-upons, and more. Sagata can also be used for Girl Scout troop or service unit meetings free of charge.
An adjacent small park includes a swimming beach, and the nearby Washington Historical Museum in Stillwater is great for a field trip. Sagata is a great space for a younger troop to spend the night, or for any age troop to spend a weekend working on a badge or Journey!

Camp Singing Hills
Camp Singing Hills, located near the town of Waterville in southern Minnesota, is a small, rustic camp with plenty of charm! Singing Hills is nestled next to a small, clean lake, which is home to loons and other Minnesota wildlife.
Options for overnights are modern cabins, canvas platform tents, three season tent-cabins, and a small program center. Singing Hills’ dining hall is a great space for a larger group to prepare meals and do activities—note that the building is seasonal and only available for rental during the months of May and September.
Whether it’s spring, fall, or winter, your campers will have a great time at Singing Hills enjoying the outdoors!
